Fukuoka Prefecture, located in Kyushu, Japan, combines close geographic proximity to Asia with advanced urban functionality, and has successfully hosted numerous international sporting events over the years. Through the operation of these events, we have developed a philosophy that goes beyond simply delivering competitions. We believe in the power of sport to revitalize local communities and to connect people, cities, and the world. Our mission is to create meaningful value through sport—contributing to stronger communities and a brighter future for the next generation. By transcending the boundaries of individual competitions and events, we aim to expand the potential of sport into broader social and urban development. From February 6 to 22, 2026, we will open Fukuoka House in Milan. Under the theme “Sports & City,” Fukuoka House will serve as a platform for exchange, dialogue, and communication among invited sports stakeholders.
