【Presentation⑧:Sports Vision in Fukuoka Prefecture】

1.福岡県のこれまでの取り組み
これまでの取り組み:福岡県はこれまでタレント発掘事業のほか、スポーツによる国際交流、大規模スポーツ大会の誘致開催などに取り組んできた。
選ばれる福岡県:スポーツで世界から選ばれる福岡県を目指している。そのため、IFやNFから大会開催を依頼される存在を目指し、また、例えばクライミングの大会ではカーボンオフセットとして社会的課題の解決に挑戦したり、団体戦大会福岡ならではの大会を開催したり、海外アスリート、コーチを積極的に受け入れてを実施。
アジア・オセアニアの中心地:相互交流の機会を拡大し、日常的に海外アスリートのいる風景を作り出す。九州各県にも交流の機会を提供するなど、福岡県をハブにしながら九州一体となった取り組みを全国に発信。
1. Fukuoka Prefecture’s Initiatives to Date
* Past Track Record: Fukuoka Prefecture has actively focused on talent identification programs, international exchange through sports, and attracting/hosting large-scale sporting events.
* Becoming a Destination of Choice: The goal is to make Fukuoka a world-class sports hub. To achieve this, the prefecture aims to be the go-to partner for International Federations (IFs) and National Federations (NFs) when hosting events. Recent efforts include:
* Addressing social issues (e.g., carbon offset initiatives during climbing competitions).
* Hosting unique team-based tournaments exclusive to Fukuoka.
* Proactively welcoming and hosting overseas athletes and coaches.
* The Hub of Asia and Oceania: By expanding opportunities for mutual exchange, the prefecture aims to make the presence of international athletes a common, everyday sight. Using Fukuoka as a hub, these initiatives—including collaboration with other Kyushu prefectures—are promoted nationwide as a unified Kyushu effort.
2.福岡オリエンタルバイオアカデミー(フィギュアスケートアカデミー)の設立背景と目的
世界で活躍する選手の成長を、実現するための革新的プロジェクト。
課題解決： 「手遅れ」と言われるほど早期の英才教育が重視されるスポーツも存在するが、テクノロジーを駆使してその常識を打破することを目指す。
タレント発掘： オリエンタルバイオ社の支援を得て、カメラを活用した分析手法により、潜在能力を持つ子どもたちを早期に選抜する「タレント発掘事業」を展開。
2. Background and Objectives of the Fukuoka Oriental Bio Academy (Figure Skating Academy)
An innovative project designed to foster athletes capable of competing on the world stage.
* Overcoming Challenges: While some sports emphasize elite education at an extremely early age (often to the point where starting later is considered “too late”), this project aims to shatter that conventional wisdom through the use of technology.
* Talent Identification: With support from Oriental Bio Co., Ltd., the “Talent Identification Project” utilizes camera-based analysis methods to identify and select children with high potential at an early stage.
3.選手を支える多角的な包括サポート体制
世界トップに立たせるための「道筋」として、単なる技術指導を超えた支援体制を構築。
育成とマネジメント： 優秀なコーチによるプログラム提供に加え、多額の負担となる衣装代・楽曲制作費・リンク使用料などを全面的にバックアップ。
医科学的アプローチ： 九州大学（西坂先生）と連携。怪我の防止やリカバリーに対し、医学・科学的な視点から高度なサポートを行う。
3. A Multidisciplinary Comprehensive Support System
A support structure that goes beyond simple technical coaching to provide a clear “pathway” to the top of the world.
* Development and Management: In addition to programs led by elite coaches, the system provides full financial backing for high-cost items such as costumes, music production, and rink fees.
* Medical and Scientific Approach: In collaboration with Kyushu University (Dr. Nishizaka), the academy provides advanced support for injury prevention and recovery from medical and scientific perspectives.
4. 2030年・2034年を見据えたロードマップ
過去の膨大なデータを分析し、世界レベルに到達するための具体的なマイルストーンを設定。
逆算の育成戦略： 「何歳までにどの大会で、どの程度の成績を収めるべきか」を数値化し、逆算して指導。
想定以上の成長： 現在育成中の選手たちは、当初の計画を上回るペースで成果を出しており、目標の前倒しが期待されている。
最終目標： 2030年、あるいは2034年のオリンピックでのメダル獲得を視野に、福岡を拠点とした世界基準の選手育成を加速させる。
4. Roadmap Toward 2030 and 2034
Specific milestones for reaching world-class levels have been established through the analysis of vast amounts of historical data.
* Backcasting Strategy: Coaching is guided by quantified targets—calculating backward from the ultimate goal to determine “what results must be achieved at which competition by what age.”
* Growth Exceeding Expectations: Athletes currently in training are producing results at a faster pace than initially planned, leading to expectations that goals may be reached ahead of schedule.
* The Ultimate Goal: With the aim of winning medals at the 2030 or 2034 Olympics, the project will accelerate the development of world-standard athletes based right here in Fukuoka.
