1. NBCにおける役割とチーム運営
水川氏は現在、米放送局NBCの「国際アイスホッケー・ブロードキャストマネージャー」として現場を統括している。
プロフェッショナルな布陣： 実況・解説は日本のような局アナ主導ではなく、専門のフリーランスが担当する。各分野のスペシャリストが集うプロフェッショナル集団。
マネジメントの範囲： 10名程度のクルーを指揮。技術的な進行管理だけでなく、スタッフの健康管理や「ミールブレイク（食事休憩）」の徹底まで多岐にわたる。「休憩が取れない」といったクレームへの対応も、チームを円滑に動かすマネージャーの重要な職務である。

視聴者の目には触れないが、大会運営に欠かせない組織について解説。
OBS（Olympic Broadcasting Services）： オリンピックにおける世界各国の放送局の元となる国際映像を制作する組織。
棲み分け： 放送（ビデオ映像）を司るOBSに対し、静止画（スチール写真）の管理はまた別の部門が担当しており、厳格な役割分担がなされている。
3. About “OBS,” the Backbone of Olympic Broadcasting
An explanation of the organization that is essential to games operations, though it remains behind the scenes and out of the viewers’ sight.
OBS (Olympic Broadcasting Services): The organization that produces the international feed (the source video) for broadcasting stations worldwide during the Olympics.
Division of Roles: While OBS oversees the broadcasting (video footage), the management of still images (photography) is handled by a separate department. There is a strict and clear division of responsibilities.
