福岡ハウス2日目、本日はWorld Skateのサバティーノ会長含む複数のゲストをお迎えし、ランチミーティングとプレゼンテーションセッションを実施致しました。
On the second day of Fukuoka House, we welcomed several guests, including Mr. Sabatino, President of World Skate, and held a lunch meeting followed by a presentation session.

ワールドスケートのサバティーノ会長より、最新の動向、ローラースポーツの未来、そして日本のポテンシャルについて洞察を提供するプレゼンテーションが行われました。
A presentation was delivered by President Sabatino of World Skate providing insight into the latest developments, the future of roller sports, and the potential of Japan.
東京五輪を契機として大きな成長を遂げた同連盟は、若者に絶大な影響力を持つスケートボードにとどまらず、日常生活に溶け込んでいるキックボードやローラースケートをはじめとする他のローラースポーツのさらなる発展にも目を向けています。これらの多くの競技はスケートボードと同じインフラを活用することが可能であり、ローラースポーツの真の祭典を創出する可能性が示されました。
Following significant growth sparked by the Tokyo Olympic Games, the federation is looking beyond skateboarding—which has enormous influence among young people—to also pursue further development of other roller sports notably kick scooters and roller skating, which are already part of everyday life. Many of these disciplines can use the same infrastructure as skateboarding, providing scope of creating a true festival of roller sports.
特に強調されたのは、「日本をローラースポーツの聖地にしたい」という情熱的なビジョンです。選手、関係者、家族を含め約5万人が関わる「ワールドスケートゲームズ」は、大きな経済効果を生むだけでなく、観光と連動した地域活性化を目的としています。
A particularly strong emphasis was placed on the passionate vision of “making Japan the holy land of roller sports.” The World Skate Games, which involve approximately 50,000 people including athletes, officials, and their families, are designed not only to generate major economic impact but also to revitalize local regions through close integration with tourism.
2025年に開催された北九州大会がすでに世界的な注目を集める中、将来的には日本で複数回の国際大会を開催する構想も示されました。開催地と「フレンド」の関係を築きながら、スケートボードおよびローラースポーツにおける世界的強国としての日本ブランド確立に向けた強い意欲が示されました。
As the Kitakyushu event held in 2025 is already attracting global attention, there are plans to host multiple international competitions in Japan in the future. By building “friend” relationships with host cities, World Skate expressed strong enthusiasm for establishing Japan’s brand as a global powerhouse in skateboarding and roller sports.
