フレンチ・アルプス2030冬季五輪の会長により、大会の全貌とビジョンが語られました。
The President of the French Alps 2030 Winter Olympics shared the comprehensive scope and vision for the upcoming Games.
コンセプトは「実用的かつクリーン」。特定の「開催都市」を持たず、アルプス全体を4つの地域に分け、選手村を9カ所に分散させる広域開催モデルです。
The core concept is to be “practical and clean.” This model moves away from a single “host city” in favor of a regional approach, dividing the Alps into four distinct zones and dispersing the Olympic Village across nine locations.
会場計画も革新的で、ニースのサッカースタジアムを分割してホッケー会場（2面）としたり、カーリングを4,000人収容の劇場で行うなど、既存インフラを大胆に活用します。
The venue planning is equally revolutionary, focusing on the bold repurposing of existing infrastructure. For example, a soccer stadium in Nice will be partitioned to create two separate ice hockey rinks, and curling events will be held in a 4,000-seat theater.
最大のハイライトは、雪のアルプスで行う開会式と、ビーチエリアでドローン演出を交えて行う閉会式の対比です。観光パッケージの造成も視野に入れ、会長は「札幌がまた五輪を招致したいと思えるような大会にしたい」と、五輪の価値を再定義する決意を語りました。
The greatest highlight will be the contrast between the opening ceremony, planned to be held in the snowy Alps, and the closing ceremony, which will take place in a beach area possibly featuring spectacular drone performances to fill the skies. With the development of tourism packages also in mind, the President expressed a firm commitment to further elevating the value of the Olympics, stating, “I want to make this a Games that makes Sapporo want to host the Olympics again.”
